The parish of Cottenham contains six manors: 

- CROWLANDS, held by the abbey of Crowland in 1066

- BURDELEY, PELHAMS, LISLES, the RECTORY MANOR, and SAMES all deriving of the abbey of Ely possessions in 1066
The various manors have been inherited and sold along the centuries. SAMES manor title has been bought in july 2024 by its present owner.
